Another moment stills in my mind.
Because of these restrictions, I can't be myself.
Curious, how my fingers began to ache.
Disturbing, how my heart seems to slow.
Even though I've held myself back,
Forgetting you just proves to be impossible.
Granted, I was never one to believe it,
However I always hoped for the truth.
In between our hearts lives these broken,
Jagged, truths.
Kindness has no meaning in this place.
Listen to them my darling, our heartbeats are not one.
Must you turn your head away?
Not listening, refusing to hear,
Open your eyes, for once in your life,
Perhaps if you do, something might change between us two.

Literature
sketching out meridians
sketching out meridians
in her obsidian eyes,
my fingers carefully trace angles
crisscrossing the arcs of her
irises.
latitudinal horizons
stretch illimitably
into inky darkness,
breathing in the strange wayward way
of lovers
who have been apart
for too long.
a spark of recognition illuminates
her blackest depths,
and every word I have ever said becomes
obselete.
When I was little;
Shooting stars came for tea,
Unicorns were seen & fairies visited
Before the dragons chased them away
by accident
When I was little;
Hundreds of coloured animals,
Spoke to me and played, never a dull moment
Now only the coloured toys remain
But I still see twinkles in their eyes
When I was little;
I believed I could fly
I thought I could swim;
Just like the fish in the sea
but I still have my wings & gills

Friday-ish Grind '3-in-1 Poem'
Words cannot express
How much I just wanted to
Drag you into it
The downpour, that is
And I wanted to kiss you
Until we lost breath
In the rain (or snow?)
Of this Friday-ish grind
I wanted us back
The marbled universe gave
No explanation as to why it came crashing
To our earth.
Saturn's bright ring ripped through
Fields and oceans with a pleasant
Kind of sound.
People fell from cliffs,
And dropped dead at jagged rocks,
Just where the earth stood face to face.
Yet darkness prevailed and some just
Couldn't handle it, while others played
With the twinkling stars that lay
Canvassed over New York.
Some Felt the weight of Jupiter,
And others perished from the heat of
Our sun.
All along, the ocean level sank,
And darkness soon commenced -
As it took round all the people.
The universe enveloped every sound,
Empty, stale,
